another observation: i’m driven by a desire to understand, so i often questioned hype openly over time i saw what i consider intellectual honesty labeled as negativity, esp by people who would benefit from blind hype, so i stopped asking publicly but asking why or how isn’t negative, it’s how we get better

always our society has no respect for the cynic anymore, very important to question stuff, especially whatever people are currently excited about disagreement is chill too - quite generative of better outcomes to engage in it I've found!

i am in talks with a mentor to do a perspective session for /beings-club talk topic as of yet undecided but i suggested collaboration and conflict through the lens of them being connected

"our society has no respect for the cynic anymore" <- taking this to mean cynicism as in the philosophy? cause I feel like cynicism in popular culture has been extremely high post 2020 across the population age spectrum
