I have the answer (for myself atleast)

Zora mints to IPFS - which requires you to maintain the image pin
Manifold mints to Arweave - which does not require data maintenance

for me preference here comes down to UI, what NFTs look like on zora.co and manifold.xyz 

I know, you could easily build a new front end, but I much prefer Zora's as a minter

It matters longer term - I used IPFS to pin the image for this NFT back in late 2017 and poof its gone. I could repin if I can find the original image and therefore replicate the hash but I don't have it
