Bridging to sol is the pharmakon, both medicine and poison It’s always there to tempt you, “go live on Solana” but the reality is risking everything you’ve built elsewhere Clanker will take our products multichain when it makes sense to do so. We like base, we have a lot of work to do to operate at a higher level with our small team, and that’s where our focus is atm And it’s where it’s gonna stay right now In our industry it’s good to remember when to pour gas on the fire and when to settle in and blown steadily on the flames

This is my exact framework and mindset There is no doubt untapped liquidity and network effects on other chains right now. The question is are those network effects large enough to justify the dev resourcing (much higher in the case of Solana) but also the reputation hit on L2s. Big reason why we built Coop Protocol was to go live on other chains but then I realized - no other chain or L2 will solve distribution for you. If you don't have an app that real people want to use, what chain you're on doesn't matter (see Polymarket for example) We've been experimenting on some other chains but Base will be home for the foreseeable future
