Since Spam labels are now public, I’ve spent some time looking at things these accounts have in common vs accounts that don’t get labeled and this is my initial advice for people who’ve been labeled. 1. STOP sharing frames. If you didn’t build it, don’t share it. 2. Stop recasting. Instead, quote cast and spell out why you are sharing it. What makes this worthy of being shared? 3. Ensure 80% of your timeline is original content. Don’t steal it from the web, make something unique and genuine. It better to not cast at all than to cast slop. 4. Only reply to people in channels. If someone casts to their home feed and doesn’t follow you, don’t comment. 5. Stop tagging people. They don’t get notified of the tags anyway. It’s pointless to tag them.

do you think this stuff is really important? can you share why? I've never thought about spam or had concerns about being labelled as such, but also post a lot about things like coins that can be spammy to some people just need to post more like they would on any network!

I hit more nuanced here. Considering 91% of active users are labeled as spam, it’s very important. Most Japanese users left over shadowbans/ power badges/ and spam labels. This has been a thorn in my side since April. At least the full data set is finally public. https://warpcast.com/pichi/0xc4a36f49
