why? convince me denominating in degen has been hard on token price for assets across DL3 whats the benefit for projects - I understand the benefit for $DEGEN

100 % talking my bags… yet here are thoughts. Naturally if on base I would suggest pricing on ETH because I like to see Ethereum used as $. However if your are building atop or adjacent to Farcaster, I think $Degen is a great long term strategy for a couple of reasons. #1 the more broadly Degen is utilized as a token, the stronger it will be positioned, which since it has historical alignment with Farcaster creates a natural flywheel… better future for Degen > better future for FC. #2. Through the current tipping dynamics, casters here can earn $Degen, which provides a way for folks who aren’t currently holding ETH in any meaningful way to enter and participate in the broader ecosystem. Sure folks can earn $Degen and swap to ETH or USDC, yet keeping fluid in Degen creates multiple entry points to the growing dapp verse. I’m thinking broadly as positioning to a future where folks from emerging economies enter the space. We’ve seen tremendous growth in crypto adoption in PH via Axie.
