one downside of building on farcaster for me is I think I grew somewhat used to no one caring. In an isolated sandbox, tracking 30 - 100 DAU, I feel like I almost began to expect it. we had a thesis pre clanker, we wanted success, but that vision was more "it'll be a launchpad that will open doors" but we have to believe in what we are doing here, otherwise the difficulties that come along with winning (mev spam and sniping to take several of our examples, or distributing rewards at scale) will drain you. you'll lose before you can try to win just start believing Farcaster, in all its imperfect glory, will win. show up and try harder to make it happen

'dominate a niche' is what they say strategy-wise in all the major startup lore. that's why I have believed in so many things on here through the doldrums, degen, proxy ... and I am thinking it is probably tn100x turn next for the spotlight with @bankr. it's still a niche here, somewhat, but a cool one!

This kind of thinking killed a product we were going to launch. We tried to get traction elsewhere, but in retrospect we should have doubled down on FC because of the high belief people have in each other here.
