Hmmm does crypto as an industry reflect delayed gratification to you? Maybe a subset of Farcaster does! It’s not really their future if they have no say or interest in it These are solvable problems but it’ll happen as a distribution to many here I think

i think in any industry you'll always witness extractive qualities — i don't find crypto any more or any less wrt delayed gratification tbh, it just seems more apparent and i think that's more because crypto is running an accelerated timeline and we're at the 'start' of the timeline, sustainability era tends to kick-in after the damage has already been done (humans tend to be reactionary — e.g. climate change) definitely /—the subset of fc i'm interested is that way inclined, it's a very utopian view but i think these people need to exist to provide hope i'd say most things in life are solvable — if anything, problems tend to lie in co-ordination and willingness to co-operate
