There's currently no penalty for low quality engagement. But you are giving some of your trustworthiness to the bot, by doing that, which doesn't help the community.

This is what I've been wondering.. It's tough because while I like to engage back when real users reach out, it can be actually quite time consuming to determine live-ness. 

I really believe the network simply needs time to spread organically, but that doesn't mean I don't want to help it do so efficiently.

Definitely paramount - But just hitting the like on someone's genuine reply could do with carrying a little less social responsibility! 😄
