@vm I’m shocked that long-time users were abruptly cut off without any notice, now that only US-based users can use the app. I’ve been a user since July 30, 2024, and have recommended this app to many in my community. I had nearly 5000 points, and now my account is just gone?

No thanks. Won’t use Receipts ever again and also won’t recommend to my friends any more. This is.. just so shocked.

What I can’t understand is how you can suddenly treat your loyal users like this. Yes, I’ve seen your decision, but at least there should have been proper communication with users who were about to be shut down. I can’t believe this is the approach from an app I loved and recommended for so long to my friends and community. You were supposed to be building a “community,” not just a fitness tracking app. Otherwise, I would have continued using Any Distance. Good luck with your decision.

we launched the app version of receipts in july, and made it available in about 60 countries, this ended up being a big mistake 

we're a small team of 4, it's hard to create a valuable product for 60 countries, easier for us to try to create a valuable product for 1 country, and grow from there
