went through this report. here’s what i found fascinating (horrific?): - RXBARS (which i never ate bc they always got stuck in my teeth) has the highest level of DEHP, a liquid used to make PVC softer and more flexible - one (just one!!) boba tea from Boba Guys has the equivalent of 1.2 years of safe daily BPA consumption; commonly used in plastic and epoxy and an endocrine disruptor - Diet Coke and Whole Foods organic chicken breast had the highest levels of BBP, a phthalate, often used to make plastics and banned in kids toys and cosmetics; the chicken threw me through a loop — could be due to packaging, processing equipment, chicken feed, etc. - both Straus and Clover Organic Whole Milk had the highest levels of DMP, commonly used as insect repellent; makes sense if it is used against livestock flies on cows, but still bad - hot food in a takeout container had 5x the amount of DIBP compared to the same exact food served straight on a plate; DIBP is low volatility plasticizer

It's shocking how everyday foods and drinks are loaded with harmful chemicals. From boba tea to organic chicken, we're consuming substances that simply shouldn't be there. Time to rethink our choices and demand safer options!
