Happy Thanksgiving to those who are celebrating 🦃. 

I have to say this is my favorite American holiday because the gift we give to each other is ourselves.

 I see people who open their homes to neighbors and strangers who are alone to share meals with. I see people who lend their time volunteering at soup kitchens and homeless shelters to make sure everyone gets fed a special meal.

This is the America I love. We receive truly when we give. I'm thankful for those in this community who have made me feel welcome, too. It means more than you know.

Well, my wife got tickets to VIP seating for the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade, so they had an early start today, and we decided to do the dinner tomorrow instead.

Sounds like my niece had fun being up close to all the floats and performers!
