a like does not equal to a point of allowance they get, but it adds to the formula the team has come up with in calculating how much allowance each qualifying user gets. 

it’s something to do with mean likes on your casts over the last 7 days. there is a cast with a proper explanation. i’ll try to find it.

Yes I saw it floating around. Think those with high standing liking your post adds weight as well. If you post or reply and recieve no likes it also contributes in a negative way I believe. Sort of tough if your just a regular person imo
