the channel would be a way for others in your community to interact with each other too vs your profile being your posts that they interact with. imagine some version of subreddit + discord but a channel?

Not much need is there? I’ve been considering it a bit and I’m of the mind that my profile is a Bold channel? So just head there I guess? Happy to be corrected though!
