damnn, what city was this? hoping you've done all the necessary find my device things already and filed a report with local police. 

twice in my family we were able to get back two iphones that were lost bc of those find my device alerts that help with theft protection when someone tries to resell them in india.

yes, backed up everything manually last week, and was also thinking about an upgrade anyway, maybe nature’s way of telling me not to think too much. it still sucks though, theft really is the worst.
