With the constant attacks on Education; what/what not to teach, budget cuts, closings, consolidations, and school shootings every day... what's the value of public education anymore unless you live in a high net worth neighborhood? Before you come @ me, I went through public school K-12 but had a graduating class of 100 people or grade school with 1 teacher for every 10 kids. I come from a very blue collar family working on factory lines.

I was pro-public education till the last decade based on the decline in literacy rates and ACT/SAT scores. People wonder why jobs are outsourced to other countries or hire from them (visas), amongst a myriad of other reasons.(https://www.forbes.com/sites/akilbello/2022/10/17/act-score-decline-lost-learners-not-learning-loss/)
