I feel this across company sizes/scales. I’ve worked as employee 10 to 1200. If the VP of Engineering or CRO doesn’t want to work with you, they don’t have to especially when the market is ripe with talent…

OR that candidate/employee needs to find a new company/culture to consider for it to align with their own values. The values are set by leadership.

Hmm interesting I’d maybe then question if those people are the right folks to lead the team or rethink the culture of those places if the leaders have that MO
