How competitive are arbitrage bots on L2s?

Is it even worth trying as an amateur?

i mean the same code that runs on L1s will run on L2s, right? if so, then it just depends on whether or not the big hedgefunds have started deploying on L2s. 

I played with arbitrage bots a while back and it was fun.

Never made money.

Depends if you have access to the memepool on the sequencer, some are private not public
