There's a strong link between caffeine consumption and sleep quality. You will never master your sleep if you don't accept this fact. For a good night's sleep, no caffeine should be consumed past noon.

Agree on alcohol and weed. But not nicotine. Nicotine != tobacco Nicotine can be safely used as an occasional nootropic that doesn't impact sleep negatively: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EHE-hHg49k

Interesting! I didn't know nicotine was considered a nootropic. However, it looks like it's better to not take it before sleeping: https://www.sleepfoundation.org/physical-health/nicotine-and-sleep. I'm not sure about the reliability of this article though. I'd like to go into it.
