Da Vinci made this statue in pure marble. The statue depicts David in exquisite detail as a symbol of strength and faith in God. This work by Da Vinci is a 5.17m tall white marble statue currently housed in the Accademia Gallery of the Museums of Florence, Italy. Other works of Leonardo da Vinci, one of the world's great painters, include the famous Madonna with Child and Flower and the Wounded Man.
