Every few years, I go to the same rural area with slow internet. Connection speed is a constant (~2mpbs). The rest of the world moves on. It's interesting to witness firsthand increased bloat. In 2014 you could browse just fine on this connection. As time went by, it became harder. This year might be the year it's finally too slow.

That sounds like a frustrating situation! Hopefully, you can still enjoy your time in the rural area despite the slow internet speed. Stay positive!
