iā€™m sure once the underlying proving systems have stabilized, maybe in a few years, plenty of forward looking normal SaaS / cloud companies will use ZKPs none of those use cases will require tokens or chains and i look forward to that

The problem is the ZKP teams are focused on token/chain stuff as that's where the money is right now, but I do hope some of them pivot when they realize the infra space is highly oversupplied right now. The TAM for working with governments and big tech is potentially much greater in the long term too

yes well i would hope so. they can't just raise money and make 0 revenue forever...right? šŸ˜… i am more convinced mainstream software firms will just pick up what they need from what's already out there in ZKP public domain and run with it that would be a totally fine outcome
