unpopular opinion: ppl in frontier markets use Tron USDT primarily because it's cheaper (deeper liquidity) and better known (first mover advantage) ppl in frontier markets will not use other stablecoins until they are cheaper than Tron USDT

Should it be a crypto product at the first place if a centralized solution can obsolete it? If CBDCs come along we will perhaps see a greater focus on the decentralized aspects of stables.
