I too really liked @vitalik.eth’s post but I can’t help but find it funny that different groups RT’d it with obviously ironic selfish motives: - VCs justifying existing investments - Investors using it to say ETH is doomed - Chains saying their roadmap is better As multifarious as religious text interpretation!

Fascinating how you can identify which bags they are shilling from a couple of sentences IMO, it all boils down to the simple reality that >90% of crypto's $ value comes from being alternative stores-of-value, and that is entirely a belief system. Justifying beliefs with "tech" does not mean valuations are tech-based

I mean, yes — everyone needs to believe it’s an alternative SoV, but that alone won’t take it anywhere!
