We know alt-SoV is the #1 demand driver for crypto assets, but there's a spectrum within it. Crypto needs to go through its first secular bear market so we have some data on the mix. E.g. it could be that very few hold if no new highs are set for 6-10 years, instead of the cyclical 2-3 years we've seen thus far.

Great point. the last two gold cycles had 6-8 years of no new ATHs.

Some have transited into cult territory (BTC, ADA, XRP, HEX) and the SoV property/meme does not matter anymore.

They will hold for the same reason tail religions hold.
