One and a half years on, somehow, things continue to hit new lows. The industry has shifted almost exclusively to obsessing and fighting over infra and degeneracy. I'm sorry for sounding like a broken record, but until an ounce of reason prevails... https://twitter.com/apolynya/status/1547434424672722944

Yes, useful applications exist, are being improved, & new ones are being built, but the ratio between deafening infra and degeneracy and applications have hit an all-time high. Eventually, people will realize all their shiny infra is worthless without applications, and the ponzis are just that, but it'll be too late

I’m skeptical that any useful applications remain to be built - blockchain has a limited number of use cases overall. But the existing ones will become more useful over time.

wondering: what are some of the key applications that dont exist you would like to see built on these rails? what re some that exist that you think will be big catalysts to what you speak of?

if you could give only one advice to nudge more people build apps, what would that be?

Key application is and remains: "make me rich" until tech is more mature, there is more regulatory clarity and more b2b use cases emerge. Possibly actual consumer use cases will be so abstracted away from underlying tech that people won't even know they are using crypto
