We’ve just traded one problem for another by making it easy for every app to spin up its own wallet for each user

Now we have our identity/assets/history fragmented across dozens of wallets 

Unfortunately, I don’t think enough wallet providers care about this problem for users

Wallet interoperability is what makes this very scenario not a nightmare for users. If interoperability is lost, then web3 just created a new form of lock-in.

I remember back in the day there was a demo for a wallet project trying to solve these problems and it actually looked so sick, but they dropped the project and I want so bad for it to come back

Interested in ZK, FHE, PUFs, hardware, system design, ai safety, and smart contact security.

Looks very slick! Though I'm not sure this can be easily implemented without adding WalletConnect-like intermediaries.
