When Steve and I started orbiter.host, there were two things we wanted to focus on: 1. Playing in a validated market. 2. Using /pinata for all our IPFS needs. We did exactly those things even if point 1 means dealing with heavy competition. I think we have some nice advantages that will grow over time though.

This is actually an interesting thing to think about. Mentally, I anthropomorphize chat bots in one of two ways. Either as an overlord that I am overly nice to or as the little brother that I like to tease.

At Pinata we waited way too long to accept crypto. And even the current iteration is less than ideal. It’s one of my big frustrations and something I revisit every few months to try to improve.

Absolutely. Zora’s previous model was fine but even that was a tough sell for me. I’m a writer, so my art is different than what a lot of people in this space consider art. But I felt my work was less appreciated despite the extra effort than it would be publishing in lit mags and making nothing.
