i have a new project cookiecutter that uses minio in dev and prod; hosting it myself behind caddy means i can use same origin and skip wrestling with cors when im trying to ship

if needs ever increase drastically i can swap projects to s3 or gcs

Does this require attached block storage to your server instance? Or does it use disk?

yeah it requires block storage, i take nightly backups, is that unavailable where you are hosting? most of my apps are hosted on linode/aws/gcp managed k8s, which all have block storage available, but i also have ceph running in my homelab.

Oh I'm not running anything myself. I'm just trying to understand what other app developers use. This is helpful!
