This is what always struck me as odd with companies that build their own IPFS infra. You’re not saving money by building it in the cloud compared to using a service like Pinata. With that size, it matters to have our hardware. The costs of the cloud are sometimes too high, and in general, no one takes into account the costs of leaving it. What I also miss from this type of article is where the hardware is hosted, who has access to it, the costs of renting, who changes a drive when something is broken, etc. Those costs also count towards the final number.
