Finally took care of the slow loads on GitCast.dev by building my own data pipeline using Cloudflare Worker Queues and a D1 database. 

Overkill for a side project? Perhaps, but I also learned a ton, and that alone makes the time worth it in my book.

GitCast surfaces the bangers. Also, I think devs should be more funny in commit messages.
