post-reading jonathan haidt, time to play devil's advocate current web2 social: like/reply-performance algo -> increased unhealthy social comparison -> increased anxiety, polarization, depression the core design elements of most web3 social is $, which can bring out even worse in people and this is good? discuss :)

I also feel iffy with the focus on $! I don’t think web3 social has the answer yet with creating more cozy online spaces, and there are lots to learn from studies such as this one on attentional agency: https://arxiv.org/abs/2405.14614
