Donald Trump's DeFi Protocol purchases altcoins for $12 Million.
The World Liberty Financial project, led by Trump's sons Eric and Donald Jr., as well as investors Steve and Zach Witkoff, Zachary Folkman, and Chase Herro, was introduced in August 2024 as an alternative to traditional banks. World Liberty Financial purchased ETH tokens for $10 million, as well as tokens of the decentralized oracle network Chainlink and the Aave protocol, for $1 million each.
After the news was published, Ethereum gained about 7% in price, LINK rose by 20%, and AAVE by 29%. 5 replies
