Kami and I took advantage of the unusually nice weather and went on a little hike! She got to see big bridges, sparkling city views, and did so good in the car 🥰

Thank you!! So this was actually the most legitimate hike she’s ever been in. We haven’t even pulled out this backpack in over a year. But for the last 2-3 years I’ve been working with her getting comfortable going on shoulders, specifically jumping from the floor up my body and onto my shoulders and then staying while I walk around. My goal was to get her used to understanding that the shoulders were a viable place to rest her body and today’s trip was proof that she’s got it now! So she wasn’t attached and I think she spent 50% of the time on my shoulders vs the backpack. I held the leash and had it on my wrist either way!
