Nope granny’s aren’t good at knitting their hands don’t work or they can’t see 😹😹 I’m saying this niche industry is old school and requires patience and great hand eye coordination (like knitting!) Also both tend to be solo activities

Oh! hahaha I dont knit. I do latch hook, embroidery, and sew though. lol BUT type-ins are popular with people in the typewriter world: You meet to type on typewriters together. Try out different machines, maybe have a few drinks, listen to some music-- it is a fun time. Typewriters are also gaining popularity in the sensitive information sector, you cant hack a type writer. The shop I work at is based 15 minutes outside of Wright Patterson Air Force Base where a few units are HUMINT, this area in particular-- is a certain kind of paranoid, iykwim 👽
