We've had 19 winners since July 2024, and most recently, someone won $207k on March 21! You can see the stats here and verify the winner: https://stats.megapot.io/ Think of it like the Powerball, where if no one gets lucky, it rolls over to tomorrow! We sell between 500-10000 tickets per day. Even the high end is just $10k in sales. The jackpot is $866,322.69 right now, so the odds for a player to win are low. What's different between us and Powerball: 1. Our expected value is far better than any traditional lottery. Plus, 100% of fees go to the community, Megapot takes 0%. 2. Our jackpot is so big because liquidity providers guarantee a big jackpot (details: https://docs.megapot.io/overview/earn-as-a-liquidity-provider) Other iterations on this idea failed because they couldn't build a large jackpot. 3. You can play with our mini app, or others like @must-be-ash's Bonanza (https://warpcast.com/must-be-ash/0xc909ab29) or @btbfinance. Since we are a fully onchain protocol, anyone can build on top of us.

could it be somehow possible (without screwing the LP providers too much) to add a side mini pot, that does pick a winner every day? even if it's small like $100, probably would incentivize more ticket sales in the end.

They have an incredible incentive layer design that’s how it’s grown hundred and thousands of dollars in a month (it was only $100k like 5-6 weeks ago) and if anyone wins there’s backup liquidity to still run a huge jackpot the day after. Benefits of it being onchain is that you don’t have to believe me or Patrick and can just check everything from winner, random selection to the jackpot size all onchain for yourself and track and validate the info. I believe in them so much I’ve let Patrick know I’d love to join their team if I was ever needed me
