i’ve said this before & i’ll say it again: devs should NEVER churn from fc; every dev in the space SHOULD WANT to be here 

they should ALWAYS take priority over any “influencer”-type yapping about “content”

there are no more than a few thousand of us here… so i’m not really sure who we’re even influencing at this point… 

the focus NEEDS to be on the tech & the ecosystem that it spurs, which in turn will bring in more people, more devs, more projects AND THEN more content 

this notion that we’re building ten years out, or that we’re in our early facebook days is ludicrous 3 years into launch 

no more than this notion that we shouldn’t invest in the devs here’s today because they’re just generating “hype” that will “fade away in a few months” anyway

is this really how we look at our devs? do we really not realize how much we need frames to grow? or apps? or tokens? or an ecosystem?

agree wholeheartedly. this is why i'm on fc. but i've churned multiple times over the past year

i think it's because i don't see enough dev content here. i want debates between @0xmert and @jessepollak on which eco is better, founders of upcoming chains like bera/monad/megaeth/abstract/unichain all talking about why we should build on their chains. at least now we have @briang back here talking about the struggles of building in consumer social

focus on dev has led to the biggest retail inflows to fc too. devs building cool stuff ends up creating tons of economic value, and retail comes after. see @slokh and @anoncast, @jacek and /degen, @woj.eth and @superanon. and the folks who are still here like @tldr and /bracket, @ace and all the apps he's launched

unfortunately i don't care for pictures of food or travel. i generally go to legacy social media platforms for that. i want to just turn on "dev mode" and see the latest launches to follow metas, how other apps are doing airdrops, discourse on app growth strategies, etc.

i think it's not just debates between the figureheads, but also seeing how projects are positioning themselves, how the community reacts to various airdrop incentives, etc.

all of which help me build a great project, brand, and community

Haven‘t you seen the Seen the same old debates in the past 10 years? We are the most dev Centric Blockchain blablabla I find it a bit tiresome at this point and think devs should know what they want - whether it’s some random grant hunting, hackathon fun or building some cutting edge DeFi protocol protocol or some fun apps and whether they need distribution, token success or don’t mind turning it into a profit
