this may be the wrong time to say it, but i see parallels between the new /blast-l2 app and /megapot 
 
crypto twitter isn't the target demographic for both of us. we're swinging for the fences going after retail, and using crypto for liquidity and as a backend

CT wants clear farmable airdrops with asymmetric upside vs a yield app on mobile. or they want to make money vs. a statistical game of chance 

I simultaneously think:
1. the execution of the new blast app was poor (that UI and onboarding flow...)
2. their comms have been poor
3. as a dapp dev, their shifted focus from supporting dapps with incentives to going after retail is bad for us. if they succeed at getting millions here, great, but that's a long haul when crypto operates on short time horizons
4. as a founder, proud to see Pacman risk it all trying to go big, even though they'll likely fail (it's a startup after all), rather than just slowly bleed out and vest tokens

everyone likes to shit on @blast and is disappointed with their roadmap announcement/app but i think theres a simple reason why they decided to go in this direction and why it might actually work
