There I was, camera in hand, feeling the weight of that strange silence you only find in the middle of nowhere. It was a moment where everything else stopped mattering; it was just that vastness and me.

I get it, and I think it’s something we all feel at times. Sometimes it seems like what we’re doing doesn’t make a real impact or isn’t leading anywhere. But even when it feels that way, those things we do can have hidden value. Maybe we don’t see it in the moment, but down the line, in how they help us grow, learn, or connect, we find their purpose.
