Starting earlier so I could be in the cohort that is really influential here and have more clout with the devs for FC/WC and maybe make a difference in some of the way it has developed. As "decentralized" as this is supposed to be, it's still very obviously stratified with big accounts and everyone else. The more followers you have the more impact you have via social rank that lets you support others with things like greater allowances for tipping and sharing their posts to give them reach. If I had just jumped on board a couple months earlier, it would be much easier to do all those things now.
