"Don't shoot people from behind." ~ a constant noise of people trying to tell me what to do and how I see the world. It took a few years for me to understand why I do this, but here goes. After moving to Poland I faced constant challenges and social barriers which created feelings of lonliness and isolation that deeply impacted me. Photography helped me sort out a lot of what I was feeling and gave me a way to "see" my journey through these challenges. Unconsciously, I began to project my feelings onto the person walking ahead of me creating a visual reference of my solitude.
