Still going through it while taking notes, but fascinating talk so far. Just the idea of composition alone -simplifying things by removing what can be deduced- connects a lot of dots. Like composite numbers! And how 8 is merely shorthand for its prime factor 2^3, which is short for 2x2x2, which is short for 2+2+2+2β¦

I'm going back in and re-watching with even greater attn. knowing that your head's all over this too Thomas! The "<Math> of <Math>" - there is something profound I'm trying to catch at the edges of this, how you can take the most advanced abstraction tool and have "non-maths artists" grok and use it. "Powerful Ideas"
