Guile Hoot 0.5.0 is probably the most performant, meterable, safest to write language to ever become trivially executable in the browser. It deserves to spark a modularity renaissance. It is a strong answer to "how to give an AI agent limited permissions that are also dynamic?" People have no idea. https://spritely.institute/news/guile-hoot-v050-released.html

Holy heck…”scheme” to WASM. I’ve been keepimg an eye out for a compilation toolchain for that. Is this gonna become widely used (if not already) do you think Dan? What are the security properties of the scheme implementation that Guile Hoot is surfacing that are most interesting to you?

How easy it is to make a metacircular evaluator. https://warpcast.com/danfinlay/0x9e3dece2 I was able to add metering in like 8 lines. Running untrusted code with granular permissions has never been so safe. Add Spritely’s Goblins, and you get distributed capabilities too.
