👀 A great example of what we were sharing yesterday for #monochrome-monday in /net-art by @sgt-sl8termelon @luka and @pfeffunit 🫴 Be sure to take a few minutes today and browse through all the casts in the channel – lots of great projects and references from past and presence and a good starting point for further exploration.

Really cool reference in comparing it to LeWitt’s or Mohr’s work.

126 ways to sew a 4 hole button, Lily Lebbus, 1956. As I've intimated before, many things that can be done procedurally in art may well have been done in textiles/needlecraft before. Think Sol Lewitt's 'Incomplete Open Cubes' or Manfred Mohr's 'Cubic Limit' (both early 70's).

Ah I have never seen this! Really interesting to see the schematics of one of his work. I wonder if those additional shapes are edits once he started considering color? 203 $DEGEN
