When I tell someone in tech about Warpcast, they usually make fun of me.

They only want to join once they see the people on here and the amount of followers I have.

I once asked a previously-active Farcaster user on why they churned: "My circle is all on Twitter."

"I don't have friends on FC" could be the biggest friction for joining.

Yeah… but make friends on Warpcast! Lol

Also, if FC users were offered a way to link to their Twitter account, we could launch a vampire attack where we show anyone how much of their X social graph is already on FC. We could even buy ad space on X to offer people to check in real time.

Ironically, of course, one of the design limitations of X is that you cannot up and take your social graph elsewhere with you.

Which is something that FC solves once and for all.
