I’m curious: Has Nouns ever permanently canceled a streaming payment? It’s an interesting question since streams are often a way to get larger proposals over the line, but rarely evaluated or canceled I only see https://www.nouns.camp/proposals/482 which was canceled for logistical reasons and then re-created

Pipe new prop should have a node, and yield streamed not gifting him 32e to do it. Understanding its a logistical nightmare to have Dao owned nodes.

Wish we could stream yield, and lock even Steth it requires a vote to unlock it. While the proposer allows to claim sustainability and not just be gifted 32eth extra on a prop as a cloak of endless funding.

my prop a bit different as it isn't just extra on top - I haven't added any compensation for myself aside from the validator - i'm saying I want to be paid 32e but will stake it all and use the yield to sustain my efforts on the project indefinitely...

Fwiw I don't think this is super clear in the prop, I read it as 10e for the work (= your comp) and an additional 32e to setup a validator. Personally I think the DAO should keep the ETH and earn yield and distribute that to contributors, and that fits perfectly with prop 582 as well. I love /noc btw!

Cheers, tried to break it down as 10e for developers, 10e for irl product designers + production costs - maybe needs more granularity. My personal work would be hosting and creating content for /noc games forever, r&d to improve explorers & help bring ppl into the fold via these games - hopefully ending up with ppl getting their dream noun. I thought the validator angle was interesting (ppl willing to stake their comp from nouns are probably pretty committed long term), and could sustain this from the jump. Appreciate the feedback!

Ah I saw the breakdown but for some reason it didn't register that the 10e were for devs & not you. Totally makes sense that you get comp as well, I would say something like "requesting 32e as my comp, all of which will go to an eth validator to fund my work on noc forever". Definitely unique and interesting! I think the main issue will be that the total request is almost $200k, feels like a lot
