Enjoyed listening to this. As an Eigenlayer solo staker, what is the best course of action when EigenDA eventually launches? Can I run the AVS myself at launch? Is this preferable to delegating?

That was a great pod! If you run a node through Eigen Pods then you can run the AVS. If you only you staked an LST then you will have to delegate. I wrote an article about Eigen DA https://www.eigenhub.org/avs-hub/6xwg31abwb7p0bzrfu8fulkyytpj81 check that out if you like. It talks about some advantages for restakers.

There are more in-depth articles on Eigen DA on Eigen's website too if you are looking for more of a deep dive. I am a node operator and have been running an Eigen DA node on their test net for months and will run for main net. More than happy to answer any questions if you have them!

Thank you! I'll look for the more in-depth content and perhaps spin up a testnet node. If there are any particular pieces you recommend then please do include links. I've not spent very long looking into it yet, but haven't found answers to my questions so far.

My questions are the obvious ones for a solo staker who is thinking about running the AVS at home: 1. What is the risk? What are the slashing conditions? What is the impact of latency or outages on rewards? 2. What are the infra/hardware requirements? 3. What is the expected level of reward?
