I mean like what is their purpose? Companies and institutions offer products and services (fast food, entertainment, spatulas, whatever). To me, DAOs up to this point are just digital casinos, and not even good casinos, with terrible shitty UX.

Am I wrong here? I'm sure there are a few DAOs that are the exception to this rule, but there aren't many of them. Most DAOs I know are just solely to make line go up with very vague and confusing value propositions.

That's exactly right. Some DAOs claimed to have clear goals, like building a "headless brand" - but what's the point of building a brand? What actual value are they delivering to the world? They can't answer these basic questions, yet they show incredible tolerance for low-quality marketing schemes, leading to massive waste. If this is meant to be an experiment, what exactly are they trying to test or validate?

Then with the rise of AI agents, I realized something almost tragicomic: people in DAOs have been doing all these directionless, strange activities, creating this chaotic organizational structure... but maybe all this messy activity is generating data that could train governance AI agents. These agents might start as assistants or information hubs, eventually evolving into the "Brain" of the community.
