This article's three-phase model of pop-up cities resonates with my experience at DAOONE. The described stages accurately reflect our journey, particularly the challenges in the third phase. Unfortunately, DAOONE didn't survive this critical stage, dissolving before reaching a new cycle. The framework's accuracy has piqued my interest in similar initiatives. I'm particularly intrigued by the NounsDAO, which seems well-equipped to potentially transcend this model. Their financial strength, pool of talented builders, and innovative governance suggest promising potential for advancement. While DAOONE's inability to progress beyond the third phase is regrettable, I'm optimistic about future endeavors in this space. Communities like Nouns offer hope for breakthroughs in governance and community building, possibly extending beyond the three-phase model outlined in the article.
