Sometimes all you need is the classics. 

Farmers Cheese Pierogi. Just farmers cheese with a little bit of sour cream, butter, egg and sugar for the filling. 

Fried in butter topped with caramelized onions, served with sour cream and garnished with dill. 

These are the pierogi I grew up with and love.
