How long do you give books before you bail out on them? I’m generally in the 25-30% range. If I get past that point and still hooked in, I’ll probably finish. But if I’m looking around at other options at that point I’ll drop it like it’s hot.

I try to figure it out in the first couple of chapters because otherwise I get too curious about the rest even if the writing is not great
